Convenient car numbers and doors for monorail transfers in Hamamatsucho|Yamanote Line (Line 3) and Keihin-Tohoku Line (Line 4)

Japanese

When I take the monorail to Haneda Airport, I transfer to the Yamanote or Keihin Tohoku Line at Tokyo or Kanda to Hamamatsucho, then transfer to the monorail.

Every time, especially when it is crowded, I first wonder which side the exit is on. And the next thing I worry about is the location of the escalator.  It is easy to look it up on the Internet, but many sites explain it in detail, so it is hard to find it quickly, where you are in a hurry. So we have created a quick reminder.

Yamanote Line outbound (Shinagawa/Shibuya direction) Arrivals platform #3

The Yamanote Line from the Tokyo direction to Hamamatsucho is an outbound line, and the arrival platform is platform 3. The door opens on the left side. The car numbers and doors closest to the escalators are the second door near the front of car 10 and the first door near the front of car 7.

Keihin Tohoku Line Southbound (Kawasaki/Yokohama direction) Arrivals platform #4

The Keihin Tohoku Line from the Tokyo direction to Hamamatsucho is southbound, and the arrival platform is platform 4. The door opens on the right side. The car number and door closest to the escalator is the third door near the front of car 9 and the second door near the front of car 6.
